4. Running the installation in silent mode

When you unzip memoQSilentSetup.zip, there will be a folder called memoQSlientSetup, with two files in it:

• memoQSilentSetup.exe

• memoQSilentSetup.ini

Here is a description of each file:

• memoQSilentSetup.exe: This is the silent-mode installer program. It processes the answer file, then installs and activates memoQ.

• memoQSilentSetup.ini: This is the answer file that contains the settings that control the installation and activation process. You need to edit this file to customize the setup process to your organization. For more details on the settings in the answer file, see sections 5 and 6.

To run installation in the silent mode on a target computer:

1. Fill in the options in the answer file with a plain-text editor (Notepad will do).

2. Download the latest memoQ installer from the memoQ website, and place it in the same folder where memoQSilentSetup.exe is.

3. Launch memoQSilentSetup.exe file as an administrator. If the User Account Control window appears, click Allow
