memoQ client and network drives
Question: Can you use memoQ client when you have within your organization no rights over a physical drive?
Answer: memoQ client will not work when you as a user have no right over a physical drive because your TMs, termbases, corpora and light resources must be stored on a local drive. Having projects and project files stored on network drives are also not recommended. The reason for this is that memoQ needs to open the project database file for exclusive use. It is not always possible if the project folder is stored on a shared drive.
The memoQ client must have some data on a proper local drive, even when you work with online projects.
