Title: How to determine if a font issue is memoQ related

Description: You are trying to translate in memoQ, but the characters are not showing up correctly. 

How to:

To find out if this is an issue of memoQ, or the document, please do the following:

1: Open the document in Microsoft Word

2: Select the whole text, and set the font to "Arial unicode MS"

If the the characters show up correctly, the original text is encoded as Unicode, and memoQ supports it

If the text is full of rubbish characters, the text has to be encoded as Unicode.

If there are lot of small squares in the text, the text is likely Unicode encoded, but the Arial Unicode MS font doesn't include it yet (eg.: Khmer) and refreshing Word or Windows might help.
