Title: How to export a partially translated document?

Context

You are translating a document, and you would like to get the partially translated document back into the original format.

Description:

To export a document that is not yet completely translated, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure that all the segments you have translated are confirmed. If they are not yet confirmed, you can confirm them by pressing Ctrl+Shift+A, Ctrl+Enter. (Or Ctrl+Shift+Enter if you don't want to add the translations to the translation memory, however, we recommend that you do add all translations to the translation memory.) Also make sure that there are no tagging errors.
  2. Select Operations > Copy source to target where empty, and select the scope. All segments with translations are now confirmed, all copied segments are edited.
  3. Now you can export the document using Export (dialog) or Export (stored path).
  4. In the document go to Operations > Clear translations, select the scope and select Unconfirmed segments. This removes the target of all edited segments.
