Troubleshooting: memoQWeb installer does not start

Symptom: The setup program terminates by reporting that 'Setup was interrupted before the product could be installed'.
Possible cause 1: The IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility components are not installed.
Resolution: Use Control Panel > Programs and Features or Server Manager > Roles > Add role services to add these components. For more information, refer to memoQWeb help: http://kilgray.com/memoq/memoqweb/help/62/en-US/troubleshooting.html
Possible cause 2: ASP.NET is not installed under IIS.
Resolution: Use Control Panel > Programs and Features or Server Manager > Roles > Add role services to add ASP.NET to IIS.
Possible cause 3: Windows Installer is corrupt or is not installed (only on Windows Server 2003 R2 or earlier).
Resolution: Download and install or update Windows Installer 4.5 from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8483
Possible cause 4: There are no web sites under IIS.
Resolution: Use the IIS console to create a Default web site.
