Posted by Viktor Mochnács on 13 November 2018 12:43 PM
When you try opening the content connector, no connections are visible and you get the error message below.

Solution

  • Try opening the content connector again.

  • Click "OK" on the error message.

  • Select  Tools -> Settings and change the setting from HTTPS to HTTP.

  • Check if the issue is still present.

Applies to:

All memoQ versions

Error message:

TYPE:
System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException

MESSAGE:
An error occurred while making the HTTP request to https://*server address*/memoqcps/mgt/mgt. This could be due to the fact that the server certificate is not configured properly with HTTP.SYS in the HTTPS case. This could also be caused by a mismatch of the security binding between the client and the server.
