Viewing changes made by reviewer
Context: A document is sent for review and, on getting it back, the translator and/or PM want to see the changes by the reviewer
Description: It is very easy to see the changes if the document is versioned. Versioning is automatic on online projects and all handoffs/deliveries have their own minor versions. For desktop documents, the user needs to create a snapshot (right-click the document and click Create snapshot) before delivering the document to the reviewer.
Once the reviewed files are back, the user needs to turn on change tracking (it can be accessed from the toolbar, left to the split/join segments icons). Choose a base version against which memoQ compares the changes; there are three options for this: against last received version, last delivered version, or custom. In a custom view, memoQ lists all snapshots created automatically or on request; choose the one to compare against.
